Registration Link: https://form.jotform.com/232555576674064 Just in time for Halloween! On October 30 at 7 pm ET, the Tennessee Delta chapter at Carson-Newman University has invited Dr. Wesley McMasters to give a spooky Zoom talk to interested Alpha Chi students. He will be speaking on “Understanding Gothic Literature in the 21st Century,” giving us a tour of how literary scholars struggle to define and understand everything macabre and murderous. We invite you to join us for an evening of dark delights! Professor Wesley McMasters has his Ph.D. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and he specializes in Edgar Allan Poe and Gothic literature. He is currently the director of the Appalachian Cultural Center at Carson-Newman University, where he teaches courses on early American Literature and Creative Writing. All members of Alpha Chi are welcome, regardless of their chapter or region. Register for the festivities by October 29 to get the Zoom link.
