Alpha Chi

The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, March 27, at 3:00 pm on the beautiful Hawai‘i Loa campus in Kāne‘ohe. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early so that you can find parking (free) and make your way to room 101 on the ground floor of the Academic Center, at the top of the hill. This will allow us to get everyone lined up so that the initiation runs smoothly. We will begin with a short address by the United States Army Signal Corps Captain Tavarris J. Andrews, followed by the induction. After the ceremony concludes, we will have an opportunity for pictures and an informal reception. We will close with a brief membership meeting. You are encouraged to invite friends and family to share in this important occasion. Please RSVP by 5:00 PM on Thursday (Mar. 24) to tell us that you will be attending and let us know how many guests will be joining you. We need to have an exact count to prepare induction materials and order punch and cookies for the reception. If you are not able to attend, you will be inducted in absentia. We will distribute certificates, honor cords, and membership pins at the end of the ceremony. If you are not able to attend, you can pick them up at the College of Liberal Arts office in WP6-313 starting from Mar. 28. If that is a problem, please email us directly so that we can make other arrangements.
