Who We Are

We are the Grace College Indiana Gamma Chapter, part of Alpha Chi, one of the largest and oldest national college honor societies. Alpha Chi exists "to recognize and promote academic excellence among college and university students of all disciplines, to encourage a spirit of service and leadership, and to nurture the elements of character that make scholarship effective for good." The Grace Chapter is administered by Grace College's Office of Faith, Learning, & Scholarship. In addition to celebrating Grace students' academic achievements, we seek to foster intellectual community and faith integration.

Join

Membership in Alpha Chi is by invitation only; invitations are extended to to the top 10% of eligible Grace College juniors and seniors by GPA, regardless of academic discipline. New members are inducted during an annual ceremony in early spring and wear distinctive blue and green honor cords during Commencement. Alpha Chi members are encouraged to participate in Communitas and other campus events while at Grace, and they are expected to uphold Alpha Chi's values throughout their lifetime membership. For more information, contact Grace Chapter faculty sponsors Dr. Lauren Rich or Dr. Kelly Arney.
